Sibling chivalry?

Since the day we came home from the hospital with Lillie, Parker has taken it upon himself to hold her hand in the car. It is the cutest gesture and we never ever prompted him to do it. Everytime we get into the van Parker climbs into his carseat and I put Lillie in hers. Within seconds of starting the car Parker holds onto her right hand and holds it until she falls asleep. Then he goes on with eating his snack, reading his books or playing with one of his toys. If she starts to cry or fuss he puts whatever he is playing with down and holds onto her hand again. It's adoreable and I cherish the moment everytime I see it.

missing sock theory solved

This morning I put Lillie in her bouncy seat so I could make breakfast. I went in to check on her and I noticed her right sock was laying on the floor. Not thinking much of it I put it back on her thinking it might have slipped off since her feet are so little. I went back into the kitchen and a few minutes later I hear Parker and peak in on them. She is sitting in her seat with both socks off now and Parker is doing his rendition of "This Little Piggy."

WELCOME LILLIE ANNA

Our Little Princess has arrived! At 7:23pm on January 27th Lillie Anna arrived as cute as can be. She weighed 7 lbs 2 0z and was 19 1/2 inces long. Big Brother Parker is pumped and is VERY VERY sweet with his sister. I can't wait to write about the trials and triumphs of my 2 wonderful kiddos. I'm sure there will be MANY MANY funny stories...

Off to get some much needed sleep...otherwise those funny stories won't seem so funny
