too many Mary's...

This morning Parker and I were reading from his kids Bible the story of the angel telling Mary that she was going to to have a baby named Jesus. Parker looked at me and very seriously said, " Mary had a little lamb not a baby jesus... silly mommy."

Jesus was the Lamb of God but you try explaining that to a 3 year old:)

Parker: "Mommy, do you know why I love you sooooooo much?"
Me (knowing this is going to be funny) "Why Park?"
Parker: "Because you are a weally weally good girl."

I wish I may...I wish I might...

Parker from the backseat of the car: "Mom,that's a amazing!!!
Me: "What's amazing Park?"
Parker: "That star. It's going really fast."
Me: "Oh, I think that's a plane."
Parker: "Noooo... I want it to be a flying star."

if you're happy and you know it...

Tonite in the car, Parker says out of nowhere, "Our family." So, Trev says to him "What about our family Park?" to which he replied, "We're sooooo happy." We laugh, we wrestle, we're happy."

Guess that's all there is to it folks.

More babies???

Tonite before bed Parker and I were talking about when he was a baby. The conversation got him thinking and he asked me if I was going to have a baby and I quickly said "No" that we have Lillie and him and are very happy right now. I asked him if he would want a brother or a sister and he replied that he would like to have Jovey (our best friend's little girl). I told him that God gave Jovey to Josh and Lela and that He would have to give us someone else. He then asked, " We have 2 Jovey's? One for Josh and one for Parker?"

Yes, Jovey is that cute and sweet and once again I am in awe of how much a 3 year old understands and comprehends...
