It's kind of hard to have a quote of the day when you aren't talking yet but today she had a funny sign.
The kids have been eating icepops all day long since it has been so hot. Today Lillie walks up to the fridge and starts half whining and tapping on it. I wasn't quite sure what she wanted so I asked her if she wanted a drink and she shook her head "no." I asked her if she wanted a snack and again she shook her head "no". Looking slightly frustrated with me she looks back at the fridge and starts frantically licking the door. I got the idea...

Parker quote of the day
After getting his Thomas train to work again Parker turns to me and says, "Mom, you are my favorite superhero in the whole wide world."

The size of love
My Dad sent Parker a cute little NY Yankees t-shirt since he has no choice but to be a Yankees fan. Last night Parker tells Trev, "Dad, Grandpop sent me this shirt b/c it didn't fit him anymore. Wasn't that nice of him?"

Being Brave
Parker has this little devotional book that we read before bed. At the end of each bible story there are questions to discuss and answer. Most of them ask about personal experiences for example, "God supplied food for Adam and Eve. What is your favorite food?" Tonite's story had to do with Elijah and how he had to be brave and faithful that God would come through for him when proving He was alive and bigger than Baal. At the end of the story it asked, "Can you think of a time you were brave?"
Parker's enlightening and very literal answer...... "Umm... at 12:30???"
