This year for Halloween, Parker was intent on being a surfer attacked by a shark and Lillie was well... a Lilly! They were sooo cute and totally into the getting candy part (what kid isn't???)

We had a fieldtrip to the farm and had a wonderful time. Although, the day we went it got close to 80 degrees and I felt slightly ridiculous pumpkin picking and drinking hot apple cider.

Here Comes the Bride!

My sister and best friend, Lauren (or Aunt Lahlah to my kids) got married this weekend and what a great celebration it was! She looked radiant and we wish her and Cash abundant blessings and many years of happiness!

screamed bloody murder b/c it was broken!!!!!

Tonite, while eating dinner, Lillie's chair slipped from underneath her and she and the chair landed on her poor little pinky finger and broke it! Thank goodness our pediatrician happens to be one of our closest friends and neighbors b/c instead of driving to the E.R. we drove to his L.R. (Living room) and got Lillie "fixed up". In fear of having child protective services after me (2 kids with 2 broken bones in 4 weeks cannot look good) Dr. Sean came to our rescue and we are VERY VERY grateful! A little Motrin and some buddy tape later, we are almost as good as new...

This morning while we were in the car we saw a firetruck go zooming by with it's lights and sirens on full blast and two minutes later we saw a helicopter landing in a field right next to us. Parker excitedly exclaims. "WOW MOM!!!! We got to see 2 cool things like one after the other. Total double luckers."

haha... "double luckers". I think I might have to coin that phrase. I love it too much to let it die.
