Silent Night

Last night Lillie was singing her little heart out to Away in the Manger. Trevis wanted to take a video of her and asked her to sing it again which she hesitantly agreed too. Well, Trev puts the camera on her and she just stands there swaying a little. After about 10 very quiet seconds Trev asks her why she isn't singing which she says, " Dad, I ammm... I am singing it in my head!"

Prayers and wishes..

Lillie announced at breakfast that she was asking Santa for a "real baby". Parker then tells her, "Lillie, don't waste that one on Santa. He can't bring you a real baby. Only God can. You have to pray for one of those. You can
only ask Santa for
toys and stuff."

For a little kid he sure knows a lot:)

Lillie's sweet bedtime prayer after several super cold days and the only other little person to hang out and play with was her big brother:

"Dear Jesus. Thank you for no sickies and for my house. And thank you that Parker my best friend forever!" Amen!


My prayer: Lord, I pray that Lillie and Parker continue to be the best of friends for many many years. I hope they continue to care for one another and forgive each other as easily over the bigger things later in life as they do the little things right now.
