It is always amazing to me all the concepts Parker picks up even if we don't necessarily teach them to him directly. One example of this was this morning in the car Parker was eating a small pretzle. He took a little bite out of it and said, "Mom, Rrrrr" and sure enough he had bitten it into the shape of an R. The I hear him go " Mom, P....Parker" and Then "Ddddd... Daaaaddd". Just when I thought he was finished teaching himself his ABC's I look back and he had bitten the D and goes, "Mom, Ccccc". It's these things that make me glad I am home with him getting to enjoy his learning milestones. He was sooo excited to be sharing this experience with me and I of course was more than glad to cheer him on!
