I didn't get the memo

This morning while making my bed I overhear Parker on the monitor go into Lillie's room and say good morning to her. I then hear him ask her if he can join her in her crib (to which she must have nodded yes),and hear him climb in. After a few minutes I don't hear much so I go into Lillie's room to check on them. Parker had made a tent with a blanket over the crib and they were sitting under it. When I asked them what they were doing Parker tells me, "Oh, we're just having an important meeting. Do you want to come in too?" When I asked him what the meeting was about his answer, "It's just a meeting about Lillie and about me... oh and about you too."

Maybe I should have joined them. Trev always tells me spontaneous early in the morning meetings are never good. Usually its to report bad news. So far I still have my job but it's also only lunchtime.
