school vs. pool
So, even though the calendar says September and school begins, we are in conflict here. It is still in the mid 90's. So, yesterday Parker started school and when he got home guess where we headed? Yup, straight to the pool! Here are some first day of school pics...showing off his new backpack and lunchbox and one calling dad as soon as we got in the car to tell him about school.

Ok, great idea. . .stick with me here, no tears at the thoughts, but. . . how cute would a similar pic of Lillie, leaning so very cutely, gazing at Parker as a doting, little sis should as Parker flashes us that winning smile and thumbs up as he goes off to college (many years down the road, of course)? K, you hate me for making you think of that day, but love me for the re-inactment photo to put next to this one, black and white, to remember such first moments! Sorry, just saw the possibilities! ;-) Love you guys and can't wait to share time away with our bestest friends!
You're right it's hard to think about. However, if they still love each other as much as they do now, and are even closer in 13 years... I will be the happiest and most thankful Mom on the face of the earth!
Let's just stick to one year at a time... we need to get thru years 5 and 3:)
