I think Parker is ready to stop talking about our baby and for her finally to come out. Yesterday we were sitting on the floor and he leaned over to my belly and said "Bee bee, pay (play) ball." I asked him if he wanted to play ball with the baby and he said "Yeah. Throw ball high bee bee." Then today he was playing with his airplane and out of nowhere he comes running into the kitchen and pats my belly and says, "Bee bee pay."
He is going to be in for a rude awakening when he won't have an instant playmate. I am glad though that he is anxious to meet his sister. I just hope he is as anxious to keep her around when she cries all day.

High (and Dirty) Aspirations
Parker wants to be a garbage man. No, actually he thinks he IS a garbage man. He throws all 6 of our little bedroom and bathroom garbage cans around our house like our garbage guy does on Fridays with our cans. He empties one garbage into the other and amuses himself for long periods of time thinking he is being the most productive boy on earth. All day long I hear "toot toot" and see random pieces of paper and tissue being thrown all over my otherwise clean house.
I made the mistake ONE time of following a green garbage truck around town. We were out running errands and I thought it would be fun for him if we followed the truck. It was pretty cool, then... we saw one on the highway, going in the opposite direction. Then we saw one in the Kroger shopping lot and then there was the white one in Louisville and the yellow one in NY. He thinks we can follow every truck and go where they go and if we don't, he gets quite upset. Oh, and tragedy on earth if we have to go somewhere on Friday morning before our garbage truck arrives. Parker sits at our front window with his little face pressed against the glass making smudge marks until they come. Then, he frantically blows the tatooed guy with the bandana kisses (LOL:) He thinks the man is awesome. Right up there with Dad and Elmo!
We drive around town and see garbage cans laying in the street and in peoples front yards. Parker asks if we can help them clean up their cans. When we were in NY a little while back my dad and him walked around the neighborhood picking up peoples garbage cans. Parker loved this Good Samaritan task and now when we go into the post office, Walmart, and the doctor's office he takes it upon himself to drag the cans around trying to find a place to dump the garbage!
I asked him if maybe he wanted to be a fireman or a doctor. His response was a definite "NO!" and then "toot toot" and off he went flinging my garbage cans around the livingroom.
Little boys are soooo much fun.

trick or EAT?!?!?!
Parker has never had a candybar in his life so the concept of Halloween was a bit foreign to him... in a lot of ways. First, he got to dressup and wear cool black make-up under his eyes (he was a football player). Then he got to walk around the neighborhood and say hi to everyone and blow kisses at them, which is totally his thing since he has never met a stranger he didn't like. The hardest concept for him though was the whole candy thing and how much he got (or in some cases he could take). We were in NY this year for Halloween and basically we were trick or treating so Aunt Lahlah would have some loot. The very first house we went to the neighbor had a big bowl of M&M's and gave Parker a bag. Parker blew her a kiss and said "Thanks" and she said b/c he was so cute he could go ahead and take one more. Well, I guess in his little head, one more meant the whole bowl b/c the next thing we knew he had hold of the whole bowl and was blowing the lady kisses. It got a little easier after that first house but he still wasn't sure what was even in the bright orange and blue wrappers. He just knew he enjoyed all the attention and that he was getting lots of laughs.

It's all in the name
Those that know me, know I can be a bit of a health nut and in their words have "deprived Parker of the essential food groups... candy, icecream, and cake." Well, with Halloween this past week, I did let Parker have a taste of a few suckers and some other treats. He didn't seem too excited and actually never asked me for more which is fine with me.
Then the other day after dinner he started bugging me and asking me over over, "Mom Eeeeee's... Peaseeeee (please)... Eeeeeee's". I had no clue what he was asking and I went through all of our little after dinner treats and he kept saying "No... Eeeeeee's peasseeeeee Mom...." Finally, I took him and asked him to show me. He went to our pantry and looked around for a few minutes and took out some of our Halloween candy. He grabbed an M&M and showed it to me and right there on the little blue candy it said, E&E.... He was holding them sideways and thought they were Eeeee's...
