Tools of the trade
It has been pretty amazing for us to observe from very early on in Lillie's arrival the differences between boys and girls. Parker crashes cars, Lillie kisses them. Parker dances with his stuffed animals, Lillie tries to feed them Cheerios and give them milk. Parker runs from one activity to the next without taking a breath, Lillie will sit quietly and watch everything going on around her. But the funniest difference might have come this morning while we were hanging out playing. Parker has a cool tool set that lights up and the hammer makes a fun clanking sound and the drill makes a cool whirrrrling sound. Well, while Parker was hammering away and unscrewing a piece, Lillie picks up the drill and immediately puts it up to her head and pretends she is blowdrying her hair. Makes me wonder what she could do with a hammer and nails???
