It's the beginning of the school year and I guess I am not exempt from learning. I just received my first lesson of the year...
So we sold our house (well, we thought we did) then in the very last hours (and I mean down to hours), it all fell thru and at 5:00 yesterday afternoon we were back to square 1. Trev called to give me the bad news and just as I felt myself begin to worry I started to pray (b/c quite honestly, my kids were tired and hungry, I was tired and grumpy and I just couldn't worry about it at the moment)
Fast forward 3 hours to 8:00. Our agent calls and says she just showed the house and she was writing a new contract for $1000 more than the last one! WHAT!?!? HUH!?!!?
There are times when I feel like God's timing (as perfect and ordained as it is) is LONG and my patience is tested. This time though, I felt like He was saying to me "My child. You do not need to worry and fret b/c I really do have it under control."
Anything can still happen with this deal and it's never "over til it's over". But I am reminded and comforted by the fact that God is watching over every step of this process and He is so very mindful of us. I feel so protected and taken care of at the moment, it is overwhelming.
My prayer is simple today. Lord, I ask that all of our friends and family we love that are dealing with work issues, school schedules, moving frenzies, sick kids, daycare dilemmas, financial hardships, and job changes feel this same sense of care and comfort. The peace that comes with turning all things over to you can be compared to no other.Amen.

God is soooo very good, huh? What a wonderful plan he has for us all, taking care of each and every step of the way, sometimes, with super perfect timing, other times, with what we feel is forever, either way, under His control! I'm so glad that you all were able to get such a wonderful feeling of peace, even amid the craziness in your lives right now!~ Can we say, "Beach, please!" Love you all and continue to trust that God is leading our families in phenomenal ways as we look at His face!
