Homemade Superhero!
We are on our like 4th icestorm of the month! It's ridiculous, really. Anyway, we outplayed all of our toys weeks ago and now we are in the homemade/craft/arts/creative play stage. The kids decided they wanted to be superheroes so we made them some cool masks. Lillie was not willing to have her photo taken in hers (such a girl) but Parker was more than willing to show off his superhero moves...

Parker? It looks like batman to me! Hang in there, spring can't be too far off, right? That's what I tell myself at least! ha!
i dunno... we just did a little Spring research on the internet (yes, we are desperate!!!) and from the history of the season... we have at least another 5 weeks of possible snow, 7 weeks of jackets (with lining) and at least 8 weeks til flip flops (although I have been known to break that rule every year!) It beats MI which is like double all those stats but still... we're trying... really we're trying to keep our wits about us!
