We have had a lot, and I mean A LOT of inside playtime this winter. I have made more play doh pizzas, cookies and volcanoes then I ever thought imaginable! If you don't believe me, here are a few interesting things we discovered as a result of our cold, icy, winter indoor days. Did I not say we are in need of Spring and some fresh air around here??
Playdoh:
- gets slimy in water, completely gross in a bubble bath!
- smells terrible when lit on fire
- tastes like the Dead Sea
- gets really hard when put in the oven at 350 degrees
- can be removed from carpet or clothing by letting it completely dry then scrubbing it with a brush
- comes in 50 different colors (and when those colors are combined, they make a really gross brown color)
- can cause an allergic reaction if you have a gluten allergy
- turns your tongue colors when you lick it
- should be thrown out at the first signs of Spring and not taken out again until Thanksgiving

Okay that is hysterical! I want to hear the story of when it was caught on fire- that has got to be a good one!
I am now intrigued to try more things with our play dough- Who knew it was so versatile????
have fun with Lela-

My personal favorite:
"turns your tongue colors when you lick it"
No one but a mother of preschoolers could appreciate that usage!
You know it's been a long winter when...you make a play-doh pizza with ALL the fixings!
Miss you crazy friend!!!
