Parker's favorite outside activity these days is digging. For what you ask? Name it. Worms, spiders, snakes (yes, snakes! thank goodness he hasn't found one yet), "treasure" (old paper clips, random pieces of metal etc). At any given moment, he can be found with his magnifying glass, a bucket, and numerous digging tools. I LOVE having a little boy! He makes everyday suburbia living so fun and entertaining (and a little muddy). I also have a new found affinity with my mother in law who probably has a lot of the same memories and experiences of Trev as a child.

Ah, thanks for sharing all the "joys of boys" with the McFarland fam. Parker is the closest thing we will ever have to a son and we enjoy each minute that we get to spend with him and hear about him and all the boy stuff he does! What a great, little guy!
awww... for having 2 girls, you guys manage to do a great job of picking out boy toys for Parker (I am thinking Josh might get quite a bit of credit for that)
I think I might have to use that "joys of boys" title.. cute:)
Hope all is well... miss you!!!
ha! I can come up with something witty at least every couple of months! I told Joshua that although I work with Jovey and Laney and "teach", some moments, I feel like I get stuck in a rut of not using my brain to the fullest extent! Does that sound familiar, or is it just me? ha! Anyway, that's for another day!
Miss you back!
I used to love digging when I was little for big night crawlers- and I used to think that if you kept digging you could see hell. Isn't that funny! What a weirdo kid I was!!!
Thought I might leave a comment since I'm a stay at home Dad this week and next and that's about all stay at home parents do, cruise the internet. HA, I've learned this week staying home is harder than I had thought.
I could use some of Parkers help, I've seen a snake the last two times I've mowed but can't ever find it when I have a shovel. Hope to see you for the wedding this summer.
