Morning Muses

Parker came in my bed this morning to get some snuggles. As I scratched his back he cuddled even closer and whispered, "Mom, you are my favorite ONLY mommy in the whole world!"

On the 6th snowday in 2 weeks this is what I woke up to...




It was completely and totally peaceful, beautiful, breathtaking AND exactly what I needed to see after being couped up with the kiddos for almost 2 weeks straight. We had exhausted every toy, every game, every craft, and every book we own and I woke up wondering what in the world I would do with them that day? Apparently, God thought we should just sit and enjoy the time we had together. Which is exactly what we did. I am soo thankful for quiet moments (since they are far and few these days) and I am soooo thankful for a God who thinks I need them and sends them my way!

So, a lot of inquiring people have asked me what in the world I did for 2 weeks while being home with the kids! If you know me, you know I love love love being home with my kids but we're not really at home much since we stay so busy. We couldn't play outside b/c it was sooo cold. We couldn't go to the Y, McD's or Chuckie Cheeses b/c it was too icy to get out of our driveway. So, here is what we did in a few photos. We had such a great time! I think maybe too much fun b/c both kids do not want to go to school tomorrow and would rather stay home.
